Whether for business or please, thousands of people flock to Saratoga every fall. With literally hundreds of entertainment options however, it can be difficult to decide which are the best to indulge in while here. Hopefully this list of the 15 most unique things to do in Saratoga during the fall season can help out!

15. The Congress Park Craft Show
Date: Monday October 13th 10:00A.M.- 4:00P.M. Location: Congress Park, Saratoga Springs

14. Ghosts of Yaddo Garden Tours
Date: Every: September 26th- October 31st Friday and Saturday 5:00P.M. Location: Union Avenue
Enjoy your own personal ghostly experience in Saratoga! Get a glimpse of the beautiful Yado gardens as well as the secrets that may lie beneath them. Private tours are available for scheduling as well upon request.

13. Head of the Fish Regatta
Date: The Weekend of October 25th Location: Saratoga Boat Launch
This regatta attracts over 160 teams and 1600 crews from all over the Northeast for a weekend showcase of rowing. Head of the Fish is one of the biggest races in the country and lots of different vendors come out for the weekend as well.

Location: Saratoga County Fairgrounds
Come visit the Saratoga Scare Fair this fall presented by the Institute of Fear! With haunted houses any many more classic Halloween attractions there will always be something new, scary and exhilarating for you to try!

11. Insane Inflatable 5k
Date: Saturday, September 13, 2014 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Location: Ellms Family Farms
Come out and join in the fun of the Insane Inflatable 5k! This event is hosted all over the country and consists of an obstacle course made up of the biggest and craziest inflatables ever. Bring your friends and family and create a team to see if you can conquer this complex course!

10. The Farmers Market
Date: Wednesday’s 3P.M.-6P.M. and Saturday’s 9A.M.-1P.M. through October
Location: High Rock Park Pavilions
The Saratoga Farmers Market is a great place to go and get fresh local produce. They have everything from fresh veggies to breads, flowers and many more! This is a great way to help support local farms and local businesses.

9. Saratoga Native American Festival
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2014 - Sunday, September 21, 2014 Location: Avenue of the Pines
This year the Native American Festival will be even bigger than last year. There will be lots of tents set up with tons of artwork, music as well as an indoor theater for storytelling! There will also be lots of traditional Native American dishes to be enjoyed as well.

8. Only the Best Bridal Show
Date: Sunday, November 02, 2014 Location: National Museum of Dance
A very unique annual Bridal Expo that consists of more than 60 of the top local wedding vendors. There will be lots of displays set up which will include different cakes, gowns tuxedos and more all for your viewing pleasure.

7. Apple picking
Date: September-November Location: Saratoga County
There are a multitude of orchards in and around the Saratoga County area that offer a fun and exciting new experience for all. From Charlton Road Orchard to Bowman Orchards there are over 40 different kinds of apples being grown that you can have the opportunity to hand pick yourself during your stay!

6. 17th Annual Falling Leaves Festival
Date: October 25th, 2014 Location: Wiswall Park/Kelley Park
There will be tons of fun activities at this festival. This event is fun for the whole family and includes activities like costume parades and many more.

5. 18th Annual 2000 Irish fest
Date: September 12th and 13th, 2014 Location: Saratoga County Fairgrounds
This is a great fall weekend festival opportunity! The annual Irish fest is a fun filled weekend that celebrates the Irish culture with lots of fun activities, varieties of Irish music, art and even traditional Irish food!

4. Saratoga Fall Festival
Date: October 25th Location: Downtown Saratoga
This event is another great family event. This is the perfect event for kids and something that should be put on every family calendar! With activities including face painting, trick or treating, magic shows, and music from radio Disney, there is something that every family will enjoy.

3. Oktobeerfest
Date: Saturday, September 27th Location: Saratoga County Fairgrounds
This festival is a small representation of the actual festival Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. This event is a hotspot for the beer enthusiast and a great place to go and try tons of different seasonal German and American craft beer as well as lots of different food and live music!

2. Saratoga Showcase of Homes’
Date: Weekends September 20th-October 5th Location: Saratoga Springs
The annual showing of the homes in Saratoga is a perfect time to bring the family or even just yourself and go see all of the amazing unique homes that Saratoga has to offer. From old Victorian to modern contemporary, lots of people come to Saratoga every year to get the privilege of seeing some of the nicest houses in the Northeast.
